The Handcraft
of Functional Art

Every Toun piece is a rebellion against mass production. We don't just make lamps—we meticulously handcraft luminous interior sculptures

MASTERS OF THE CRAFT

Hrach and Lusine

Lusine

Color, Family, and Destroying Boredom

Lusine is an artist who studied alongside Hrch, as well as a passionate teacher. In the studio, she is responsible for breathing life into raw materials, destroying interior boredom through pure color and geometry.

For Lusine, Toun carries a deep personal meaning: it is an opportunity to create with her family, building something extraordinary through joint efforts. By combining meticulous handmade glasswork with modern graphics and pop-culture imagery, she transforms ordinary objects into luminous artifacts. It is her vision that helps craft that one uncompromising detail that instantly changes the rules of the room and becomes the ultimate visual magnet.

Hrach

A Return to Pure Art

Hrach is an artist who grew up and received his education in Armenia. For a long time, he ran his own furniture production business, where he perfected his understanding of materials, structure, and tactile woodwork. Eventually, however, he realized that the business had pulled him too far away from true visual creativity.

Turning to stained glass became his way back to his artistic roots. For Hrch, creating every Toun piece is a personal challenge: he aims to rethink the traditional art of stained glass, pulling it out of the context of classics and churches to turn it into the most relevant, highly desired statement decor. His hands shape the very bold forms that make light the main manifesto in any space.
